I have the latest parallels using my bootcamp partition... I've been using parallels for a while now... finally updated to version 4. Anyway... Parallels has always used a lot of my CPU while running. I just updated to version 4 and noticed the CPU when idle - prl_vm_app uses between 7.6%-10% all the time when idle. Believe it or not... this is actually less than when I was on version 3... but I'm unsure why it is like this. I have lived with it forever, but I'm finally getting fed up. I uninstalled the Parallels tools - both by uninstalling and deleting the Parallels folder in program files.... any other ideas?
