Problem activating after trial

    HI,

    I downloaded Parallels 5 Trial Version for the Mac and was quickly won over from the other product I was using. So I went down to my local Best Buy store and purchased a copy of the Parallels 5. I went home to enter the activation number of the Purchased Product but the programs tells me that my entered Activation Code on the CD is not valid. I am sure that I am entering it correctly but no matter what it still tells me that the activation code is invalid.

    What do I do now?

    Un-install the trial version and re-install the version on the CD?

    I have logged a Support Ticket and I while waiting for the response I thought I would post this message to see if anyone else encountered this issue and had a solution.

    I got a Response from Support

    Just wanted to post that this issue was resolved by Parallels support. Yes it took longer than I wanted (2 Days) but at least they:
    a) responded at all.
    b) responded within the time indicated when I submitted my issue.
    c) responded in the at 2:42 am Saturday morning.

    Yes, my issue was simple but at least Parallels Support responded and it was resolved.
    Maybe this will bring hope to others that are having problems with getting support from Parallels.

    Incase anyone is interested I was entering what appeared to be a 8 (the number eight) in the activation code when actually it was a S (the letter s). I would suggest if you purchase the product from the store that you magnify the activation code that is printed on the cd sleeve, as the letters and numbers may not be what your eyes tell you they are (Yes I had on my reading glasses during this process)
