After using Parallels without a problem on my Retina display MacBookPro for about a year, I have recently updated Parallels. Also, I my computer restarted unexpectedly yesterday. Today, when I try to start Parallels 8 (Build 8.0.18608, revision 898384), I consistently get Problem Code 68. I have followed all the steps suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/en/9231. Two permission errors were corrected by Disk Utility. I added Parallels Desktop as an exception under Sophos anti-virus. I reinstalled Parallels 8, and I rebooted. I also added "vm.app_mode=32" as a boot flag. Unfortunately, after permission repairs, reboots, and Parallels reinstalls, I still get the same Problem Code 68. I do have automatic back-up software, so I can likely "roll back" any particular file to a prior version. Any suggestions?
