error message i get , The source computer cannot be transferred to a Parallels virtual machine. Do you want to transfer its volumes as Parallels virtual data disks? Ideas suggestions
Another option is to take the hard disk out of the PC, attach it to the Mac, create a Boot Camp virtual machine from it, then try the Import from Boot Camp menu item. Do the Parallels logs say why it cannot be transferred to a Parallels virtual machine? Was the installation using an OEM version of Windows?
I have a daughter that wants to buy a P/C computer with Windows 7. She now has a Blue & White G-3 with 10.2.8. I have a I-Mac using Parallels 5 and also running Windows XP on the same computer Question: Can we install Parallels into this P/C computer and have Macintosh 10.5.8 installed as a secondary application. I want to do the opposite in my daughter' s computer as I have in my I-Mac so she can run Windows & Macintosh
Parallels Desktop for Windows does not support Mac OS as a guest OS. http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/pd4wl/sr/
I am wondering why this can't be done. A lot of people with graphics would really like to run a Macintosh program
The Apple end user license agreement doesn't allow running Mac OS X on PC's or virtual machines so Parallels doesn't allow it. You are allowed to run Mac OS X Server on a virtual machine on Mac computers only.
