We have a zipped file archive of a hierarchy containing folder/subfolders that hold JPGs created in Photoshop on a Windows PC and EPS and AI files from Adobe Illustrator created either on PC or Mac. On parallels, when attempting to extract the files, a message appears for each JPG saying it's "password protected" and cannot be extracted. Everything else extracts fine. On a windows PC, all files including the JPGs extract perfectly. So far to pinpoint the problem, we've tried zipping the files both on PC using StuffIt Deluxe 11 and on Parallels using the default compression method. Both cause the problem described above. We have tested on 2 different PCs and 2 different Macs running parallels. By the way, the file unzips correctly on the MacOS 10.4.8. Does someone know why Parallels is having difficulty extracting the files?
