i just bought a iMac, intel duo core 2.93Mhz 4GB RAM, GT120 Graphic Card. I downloaded a trial version parallels desktop. when i install the windows via pd, it works perfectly fine. but it seems like the graphic card drive is not installed, i inserted the original Mac OS X disk and installed everything in it, it doesnt work at all. When i check the hardware manager and type "dxdiag" in run as, it always shows that the video drive is not installed. How do i fix this problem?

Hi, the only thing I can think of, is that you've not installed the Parallels Tools...

Change view for your Windows XP VM to Window, select it, go to Virtual Machine in the menu - Install Parallels Tools (near the bottom of the list), I'm assuming they are not installed.

    Kind Regards

And please note that you should not install any native video drivers or DirectX simply because Parallels Desktop emulates its own virtual video adapter and all required and compatible DirectX libraries are already included in Parallels Tools package. For more info see Parallels Desktop user guide
