We run one program on our MacBook that requires Windows. Parallels seemed to be the most stable and supported environment to work within the Windows world, so we've been using it since August (upgraded to v6 when it became available).

Last week we ran the software update that was available and claimed to fix some bugs...since that software update, we have not been able to use our application (it is MS Access based), because Windows can not find or does not have proper rights to the Parallels Shared Folder (PSF) where our database resides.

Any help from someone who has experienced something similar would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Additional information

To add information to the above post, we have shared this same information with Parallels Tech Support and opened a tech support issue, but have not heard back any resolution from Tech Support - Anyone in the community have any ideas, thoughts or experience with this issue

    Resolution

OK - Here's the resolution, should you run into the same problem. You need to re-install the Parallels Tools. Open Parallels, start your virtual machine and under virtual machine click on ReInstall Parallels Tools.

Follow the install path and then things work again.

Seems to me that should have been documented somewhere....
