Using an aluminum imac with an ATI RadeonHD2600 and 4 mb ram. Am trying to use the Windows Moviemaker and Windows DVD maker (I know, imovie and idvd are far better) with Vista Ultimate in parallels 4.0.3540, but keep getting message that my video card does not meet minimum requirements and that the video card does not meet the minimum level of hardware acceleration. Parallel tools are installed. Is there a fix for this?

How much video memory is assigned to virtual machine? Is 'Enable 3D acceleration' box checked?

    Has the same problem.

Hi. I got a similar problem. I got an aluminum macbook 2.4 Ghz, 4G RAM, using Parallels 4.0. I installed Windows Vista Ultimate (64) and when trying to use Windows Movie Maker (Yes, yes! I got Final Cut but Im very new to this stuff.. only 1 week with my new Mac), the program stated that my video card does not support the level of hardware acceleration. The message says that the card must support DirectX 9. I have 3D Acceleration checked and also have assigned 128 MB to the virtual card. PLEASE help me! (Yes I´m a little anxious.) By the way, thanks for an excellent product, Parallels is great.

    Has this issue been resolved?

I have the same issue in Vista and 7 - not in XP. But in Adobe Premier Pro I can not see a preview of the video I am editing in any of the the Microsoft OS's.
