I have Windows XP installed on a separate internal HD under Bootcamp. I also have Time Machine that backs up my Windows drive to an external HD. If I try to start Parallels I get an error message that says something to the effect that I have an non-standard Bootcamp installation with duplicate Windows partitions and Parallels will not let me start. If I disconnect my external Time Machine drive it starts okay.
How can I avoid this problem as I don't want to keep unplugging my Time Machine drive?

Anyone got an answer to this "bug". I have to unplug the external drive as Parallels will not start.
Anyone from Parallels have an answer to this?
