    Hello,

I'm running xp sp2 with all latest patches on my mac book running 10.4.8 with all latest patches except for the most recent security patch. I initially installed xp under one of the last public beta's and upgraded to the first release when it became available. Then, I installed parallels release 1970 when it became available.

Lately, I've had issues with the parallels tools. It seems like about every 4th or 5th time that I use windows, I get a message popping up telling me that my tools installation is the wrong version for the level of parallels that I'm running. So, I dutifully remove and reinstall tools. I guess it's ok, because that's about the only time I reboot xp. Otherwise I just suspend xp between uses.

But I am a bit annoyed about all the reinstallation though because it seems something must be getting corrupted while I suspend xp. Are there any words of wisdom I've missed? ( I wish I had searched the forums before this new beta came out because all the search hits seem to be about it. )

Hoping this doesn't get lost in the flood,
    Horst
