Problems in Ubuntu 9.04

    Hi,

    I'm unable to connect to our 2x App Server (v. 6.2 - build 528) using the latest version of the Linux client in Ubuntu 9.04.
    Always get the error message: An error occurred when connecting to the 2x pplicationServer
    As anyone successfully connected an Ubuntu 9.04 box to 2x App Server?

    It's possible.

    The xlibc library has been replaced by something else. If you make a symbolic link to the new file, it will run.

    Sorry for not being more specific. I'll figure out which files it was and I'll post again.

    Update---

    Everything appears to work fine with the 7.1 client. Try that and see if it works.

    I'm having the exact same error as baselinept in my 64-bit version of Ubuntu 9.04 using the latest ApplicationServer Client available from the site (v7.1 b657). Would be nice if the app could be a bit more clear about what type of error it encountered :)

    I should add that if I knowingly enter an incorrect password and/or username it gives "bad password/username" so contact with the server doesn't seem to be a problem.
