    Hi all,

I've been trying to install Fedora 6 myself under Parallels on Mac (I've seen one pre-created image, but I'm determined to get it working myself). So far I have encountered the following issues and am wondering if anyone has ideas on resolving them on my MacBook Pro (core 2 duo):

    1. I've been able to get shared networking working during the install, but not bridged ethernet for some reason.

    2. After install, the Linux boot from the HD craps out, but the screens flash by fast enough that I cannot tell at what point that happens and what the cause might be.

    3. I saw somewhere else in the forums that there is an alternate kernel you can try, so I downloaded it and tried to install the package, but it just seems to hang there during the install and not really do anything. Upon reboot it appears I'm currently running the Xen kernel, so I'm not sure whether that's the original or the one I attempted to install.

Any ideas on troubleshooting this? It's been a loooong time since I ran Linux, so I'm afraid I'm not too savvy on troubleshooting on my own anymore... Thanks.

    /mike
