So I've done some searching around, but I cannot seem to find any answers.

When I run a published application, the program opens along with another window as if it was juts a normal RDP session. I thought that it was supposed to come up as if the application was running on your own computer.

Also if I run a second application, it just sets that in the same big box as the first one. I guess I don't see the point of using this outside of just normal RDP, but I take it this is supposed to work differently.

Can anyone help me out with this? I've seem some others who have the problem, but nothing has worked.

    Hi,
Can you be more specific on the program opens along with another window?
    Forexample:
You opened 2 applications and disconnected your session.
You reconnect again by accessing the published applications, in that case three applications or two applications will open(3 windows) depending upon which one you clicked assuming that you have correct setup.
But if you do a fresh log in and access an application, only that application will be opened(1 window).

With a setup such as run one instance of application, only one window of one particular application will be available.

    I suspect either

The server isnt running full terminal services

You are using a "ts tool" like winxp unlimited

Or you have the users profile/s to always start an application when then login to terminal services.

This will conflict and create a windowed/desktop instead of the real published application

Figured it out. I wasn't running RDP 6.0

Once that was installed, it worked as intended.
