Hi. I bought Windows XP Home and installed it stupidly on Boot Camp and registered it. Then i saw Parallels Desktop for Mac and i tried it out. I love it so much more. But now i can't register Windows again because it is registered on Boot Camp. How can i fix this? Thanks
You can reinstall winxp on a new machine, a vm one as well, I guess, provided you remove the old one. Delete the bootcamp winxp or the bootcamp partition. Install winxp in parallels. When you try activating it may ask you to phone MS. Do so, it's a 800 number, explain what you did, emphasising you deleted the old version, and they will get you activated. There's helpful staff in this part of MS.
