Proxmox VE as VDI Provider

We would like to see Proxmox VE as VDI Provider for deployment of TS / VDI Hosts. There have an simple API for that and its an free alternative.

would be great option. what the update on that
i use proxmox because proxmox has up to 30% better performance as ESXi (the esxi Server has a pretty good performance but with all the overlaying tools, it goes to the price of performance). i want to try xen as next (but as i read, xen is supported)

 

Well, now that Broadcom has changed the whole licensing, it's certainly time to think about it and consider Proxmox as a valid provider.
There are already some VMware customers looking for an alternative, so I think it's a good time to integrate Proxmox into the RAS landscape.
Are there already concrete plans in place?

 

+1 from us! Eventhough we're still able to use vmware licenses, we're looking to switch to alternatives, so we're able to ditch vmware after the 3 years.

Now that Veeam has decided to support Proxmox VE (Veeam Backup for Proxmox), has Parallels RAS given any more thought to making Proxmox VE a Parallels RAS "Provider"?

 

And, it looks as though Proxmox had a pretty good VMware to Proxmox migration tool. (Proxmox VE Import Wizard: How to import VMs from VMware ESXi)

What do you say Parallels? Why not Parallels RAS)?

Another +1, we switched from XenServer (or Citrix Hypervisor) to Proxmox VE, including GPU Support. Running absolutely great.
Also, Proxmox' API is open and easy to develop to.

If there is no movement from Parallels on this, we are going to move away from Parallels to UDS Enterprise.
