Is it possible to publish or make available NoMachine NX sessions via 2X? I can publish RDP XP desktops (for exampl) and access them through the web portal, so I'm wondering if the same can be accomplished for Linux desktops that have NoMachine NX installed. If the above isn't possible, what is the purpose of supporting the NX protocol i.e. where/how is the NX Protocol actually used? Also, does anything need to be installed on the Linux workstation (such as an agent) to accomplish the above - assuming it's possible to publish NX sessions. Thanks.
2X VDS does not support NX protocol to connect to a published linux desktop. Only RDP protocol can be used. Possible solutions are the following. 1. Use Oracle Virtual Box which provides RDP connectivity to your Linux guest operating system 2. Install an RDP server on the Linux guest operating system and use any VDI technology supported by VDS. If you still want to connect to the system using NX protocol please consider using 2X ThinClient OS or 2X CloudClient OS. Here NX is supported with a wide range of other connects.
