Hello, I have a question about how Parallels and Bootcamp works.I know that when you install windows on bootcamp, you install the drivers that apple supplies using the installation file located on their website. I also know that when you import the Bootcamp partition into Parallels, Parallels tools get installed, which are considered as drivers for the virtualized hardware. My question is, do the two sets of drivers not interfere with each other? Does this have any negative effects on Windows?
They do not interfere. When using PD, Parallels Tools are used. When running in BC, Apple's BC drivers are used. It just works! Steve
