I am evaluating 2X RAS to see if it will serve as a replacement for our XenApp server. We currently have a single XenApp server serving up to 40 simultaneous users. The testing of 2X RAS has gone very well so far. Everybody who tries it is impressed. I do have some questions about 2X RAS(current version and future development plans): Is there a way to limit how many instances of a published application can be running at any time? We have a business critical application that can only have a single instance and it does not handle this checking itself very well. Is there a API one could use to obtain information about sessions/applications on the 2X RAS server? I need to obtain information on which applications users are running and for how long. Scripting via Python would be ideal, I would setle for some Microsoft scripting language if I had to. Both of these are important for us to be able to transition one of our business critical applications to 2X RAS. Also, how does one extend the trial period? I was told by support that I just needed to uninstall and reinstall 2X RAS. That did not reset the clock for the trial period. The managment console says I can register for a free licence for up to three users here but I never get an emal response: http://www.2x.com/ras/download/?utm_sou ... gn=license Thanks.
