I have recently installed quickbooks pro via parallel on XP. Somehow QB Pro 2009 only allow me to save the files on the local drive and not on the server.

    1) How can I save the file into the server so that every mac with parallel can use the file?
    2) How can I share file saved in local parallel folder (ie share document) so that others can use the file?

    Hello Audrey,

Please try saving the files in the Z: drive which is the .psf drive and then try to save it in the server.
    Also, please reinstall Parallels Tools.

    Hi Audrey,

Did you solve the problem? Because I have exactly the same thing. I found some interesting information about error 6176 here:

something about adding the server's IP on windows' hosts file, but I couldn't understand exactly what to do. Please let me know if you found a solution. Thanks.
