    Is there anyway to change the amount of RAM I have to run programs in Parallels? I'm trying to run the Dragon Speaking Naturally 10 software, but I am receiving an error that there isn't enough RAM to run the program.

    Thanks in advance.

    On my 4.0 install the procedure is:

    With the VM Stopped, Go to the Parallels Menubar,

    Select Virtual Machine -> Configure

    In the Dialog that Pops up, click "Memory" in the "Hardware" section on the left-hand side.

    There will be a slider bar on the right side; set it to what you need, then boot the VM.

    There are performance considerations though. The more memory you give the VM the more starved your mac will be. My Parallels allows me to give the VM more memory than I actually have. (not sure what that really does but it won't run really fast.)
