Hello. I seem to be having a random disconnect problem. Every once and awhile we seem to get disconnected. If you wait a bit, it usually reconnects, but sometimes you need to refresh or click an app to reconnect. This will happen in the middle of work as well as while sitting idle. (99% of our time use 2x for our client database and MS office, no remote desktop). I do notice that sometimes all 3 of use are disconnected at the same time (but not all the time). When that happens, it will just freeze for a bit, then the reconnect banner comes up, then starts up again.

I am running RAS 12.0 on a virtual server running MS server 03 (the host server is 08). There are only 3 of us, one on the latest version of the client and another one version back (been trying to solve this for awhile so I didn't update all the clients). The network is all internal, with 1 wireless and the other two connected to a switch. The 2x client is set to direct mode (but I just switched mine to gateway just to test it).

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks. Paul.

You didn't specify which client you are using so I'm going to assume that you are using windows.

Random disconnects may occur due to network issues or if the RDP server is under heavy stress (i.e. either it is underpowered or an application is taking a lot of CPU time). I would exclude the latter cause unless your database is doing some heavy work.

Did you check to see if there are any related errors in the "System" log (from Event Viewer)?

In any case I would suggest to contact support since such disconnects are usually an environment configuration issue which could need analysis of your particular setup (via logs etc).
