Does anyone know which preference file controls where Parallels looks for recently opened virtual machines? Here is the long story: I have an external hard drive that I clone backups of my VMs to, which is connected wirelessly through my home network. When launching Parallels it always checks for (and if available mounts) that external drive. This is not a problem except when I'm not on my network and Parallels hangs for 5 minutes while trying to connect to that drive. I've deleted all of the preference files in my ~/ (including hidden files) without success. I even uninstalled and removed all obvious system wide preferences. But I still have the same problem. I know that it is a user preference because the problem is not present when using a different User account. Thanks for any insight.
