Within the past week or so, I have noticed significant performance degradation in my Vista VM. The CPU is getting pegged at 100% and it looks as though the offending process is "WmiPrvSE.exe". If it is not that, "svchost.exe" is up there as well in terms of CPU utilization. I am unaware of any changes to the system during this time that might be contributing to this problem, but I am now as the point where the VM is unusably slow. Running a Windows Vista Enterprise VM in Parallels Desktop (build 5584) on a 2.2 GHz MacBook Pro w/ 2GB RAM. Any ideas as to what might be contributing to this problem? - GC
