I have an issue where when I use the "Record Window" tool, it will occasionally just stop/crash on its own. Not only does it stop randomly, it corrupts the file leaving the video unusable. This issue has been going on for years, even through updates of MacOS and Parallels items. Sometimes the recording will last for several hours, or it can crap out within a few minutes. As far as I can tell, nothing is happening on my machine to kill it. I don't have any apps on my machine that attempt to kill processes. I could set the recording, leave my computer for a few minutes, and it would stop by the time I got back. Or, I could be watching it record after a couple hours while simultaneously working on my computer, and it suddenly stops. It is very unreliable. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, or is there some fix? Please advise.
