Hi, Whenever I'm on my Parallels desktop, I have this red icon with a crossed-out letter I. It doesn't interfere with anything. just annoying. Since the last upgrade, 17, this icon has shown up every time I log in, and I'm wondering what it is related to. It disappears as soon as I move the mouse but reappears as I open an application. Would anyone know? Thanks you.
That red icon with the crossed-out letter I on your Parallels desktop means there are notifications you haven't seen yet, usually updates for Parallels or your virtual machines. After upgrading to version 17, it appeared every time you logged in. Click on it to check for updates or see if there are any in Parallels settings. If you can't find any, try resetting the notification settings in Preferences. No biggie, just a reminder to take care of those updates so you can have a clean desktop.
