    Hello,

this is my last hope for using Parallels (after I set up a dozen VM for my company):

I run RedHat 8.0 on Windows Vista SP1.

The VMs have to cope heavy duty of IP-traffic and Hdd-writing. Two VMs do run on one physical maschine, sharing one network device, but write on their own physical hdd.

After some days, sometimes hours, the bash sends me following infos like this:

    etho: too much work

    and/or

    ide: DriveSeek Error reset ide

    and/or

    DMA disabled

Even without any message, after some load processes get very slow after a time, even if memory does not use swap. Keybord is getting slow either.

System timer is going hours to slow, while hwclock can't be changed with --setclock at all.

I really hope that there may be help, because I virtualized my whole companies legacy linux application with Parallels, before I first encounter this behaviour. Maybe I had a very bad idea with this architecture. Now I have very bad nights. Maybe this program should not be used with heavy IP-traffic and hdd-writing... You people should know...

    Sincerely from Hamburg, Germany,

    Andreas
