I have just purchased an iMac which comes with the standard wireless Apple keyboard.

I will be installing Parallels in order to run Windows. I will be loading Microsoft Office for Windows so that I can use the Windows version of Excel. (Excel for Mac is really horrible and I just can't stand it.)

My question is - if I attach a regular PC keyboard (say a standard Dell keyboard with numerical pad) to the iMac, will I be able to use Excel for Windows in Parallels just like I would on a PC? In other words, will the iMac recognize the PC keyboard, and will the shortcuts for Excel for Windows work properly using that keyboard? Also, will the PC keyboard function OK in the native OS X environment (not Windows)?

Finally, can you please recommend a PC keyboard that is great for use with a Mac?

    Thanks!
