    Hello Robinc1,
To restore your Virtual Machine from Time Machine backup you need to restore complete .pvm to get the virtual Machine again,
    1. Usually Virtual Machine will be in /User/Documents/Parallels or /Users/Shared/Parallels/
    2. Please browse time machine back up to the correct location, restore .pvm file to /User/Documents/Parallels
    3. Double click on the file once restored completely to start the Virtual Machine.
