    Hello,

I have customer with MAc OS 10.xxx who installed parallels 6 for windows XP home compatibility.
He then upgraded to parallels desktop V7, no problem.
    Win XP home running fine.
Then he installed Win 7 along side the rest.
no problem, al three are running.
We then copied data from WIN XP to WIN7, OK, no problem.

Now that everything is running on WIN 7, we want t remove only the Win XP home system, included
all what was running under Win XP, KEEPING ofcourse everything running under Win 7 !!!

Can you help please to give a 100% free of crash solution ???

    THX very much

You just need to right click the PD icon in the Dock+ Show VM list + right click Windows XP vm and chose Remove. That choose Move to Trash. That's it

I have a similar situation to YBlomm where I have installed Parallels 7 onto a new iMac running Mt Lion, installed Windows 7 then migrated what I thought was just the data from the old pc. It seems I now have XP and Win 7 on the same machine where all I wanted was the data from the old pc running XP.

Can I just copy the data I need from the virtual XP side to the virtual Win 7 side (hopefully by just drag-n-drop) then delete the XP side?

    Cheers!

sure you can. Open you Win 7 Vm configuration --> Hardware --> and press "+" sign --> choose to add existing hard drive and locate your Windows XP vm files. connect Windows XP hard drive and start Windows 7 VM. You should now see 2 hard drive in My Computer (e.g. C and D) just copy the date you need and disconnect the hard drive.
