We have one application published through 2X. It is set to create a shortcut on the desktop of the user. We recently changed servers. We are trying to get users to move to the new server. I was able to do this through group policy, by changing the server in the package. The problem is that the previous intall added a shortcut to the desktop with the old server name embeded on the shortcut. When I install the updated software with the new server it creates an additional shortcut to the software, but the old shortcut remains. How do I get rid of the old shortcut that was published on the desktop by 2X without having to visit each station and manually deleting the shortcut on every users desktop. 2X lets you create shortcut from the console but not delete or change them. :?: :?: :?:

when you uninstall the shortcuts are removed, try uninstalling and then reinstalling, that should do the trick

    Hi,
Looks like the shortcuts are forced from the server.
    Do this:
On the 2X Client Launcher, right click and select "delete shortcuts on the desktop".
You will see all the desktop shortcuts being removed from the desktop.
Now, log off and log in to your 2X Client.
All your shortcut settings will be forced from the server and you'll be good to go.

    Yes that's correct.
Almost same for the url/mail redirection.
