Does anyone know the proper procedure for accomplishing this, without affecting the existing Virtual Machines? My evaluation copy (1842.7) expires in a few days, and I have a new license for the Release (1848), but am doubtful whether to just uninstall the evaluation copy with the faint hope that the 1848 will recognize the virtual machines and be able to run them? I just installed the GA over RC2, rebooted the Mac (important), started the VM, installed Parallels tools (it knew it wasw updating) and it works fine. In any case, the uninstall doesn't touch the VM.
