I've already been in contact with Parallels support on this one, but no solution. I'm hoping someone else might have a solution or suggestion - I don't want to have to rebuild my entire VM from scratch just for a bigger HD. My existing VM has been running under Parallels since v3, and I've resized it a couple of times successfully in the past. However, it seems to be broken under Parallels 8 (build 8.0.18494). If I attempt to resize, the disk is corrupted and cannot be booted, repaired or accessed by any means. The disk has been fully checked and is fine prior to resizing. Support verified this and suggested resizing by the following method: Unfortunately this solution is only temporary. The disk will boot once or twice after resizing and then is reported as corrupt again. Given that Parallels support is stumped by this, I think v8 is broken. Anyone experienced this and worked around it? Or any tips for migrating to a larger volume without a total rebuild?
