    Hi,

I used to open .exe and .msi files I downloaded in Mac OS X directly with Windows default actions, but now I have only the option to open with a Mac application (Unarchiver).

It seems to have happened after I checked the "Isolate Windows from Mac" option and later unchecked it.

I have read how to open normal media files with Windows applications, but this seems different (which application should I use to open ".exe" or ".msi"?). I have also tried reinstalling Parallels Windows Tools in the guest Windows VM, but it had no effect.

Is there a way to restore the .exe and .msi files association in Mac OS X to open with Windows default actions?

    Thanks!

Update: After about an hour the file associations were restored "automagically". They default to "Windows Explorer.app", by the way.

Hope it helps somebody with the same problem =)
