Restore my old MAC Address

    I changed the MAC address for my Windows 8 virtual machine and would like to revert it back to what it was before.

    Is there a way to find out what it was before i changed it? I've been looking through logs both inside windows and mac but i can't find it.

    Help please?

    Nevermind... I figured it out:

    Used Windows Event Viewer... (run eventvwr.exe)... Under Custom Views - Administrative Events there should be events with Address Configuration State Event that will give you your old mac address.

    There's probably an easier way but this did it for me.
