I am currently using Parallels Desktop for Mac 5 on MacOS 10.6.3 and would like to restore an old virtual machine (VM) I have on my Time Machine backup. I have misplaced my license number for the WindowsXP version I had loaded about four months ago and would like to restore the old WindowsXP VM I had accidentally removed. I do not have the option of reloading WindowsXP unless I can find my license number. I do have the ability to reinstall all of my WindowsXP applications after I restore the WindowsXP VM.

I have restored just the .pvm file for the old version of WindowsXP but Parallels Desktop got confused. So I surmised that other "data/files" are needed somewhere in Parallels Desktop for the restore. I thought I could remove conflicting data by uninstalling Parallels Desktop and then reinstalling it to remove any conflicting preferences, etc.. Now Parallels does not recognize the restored WindowsXP.pmv file. I have removed all files I could find at this point and have reinstalled just the Parallels Desktop 5 application. (totally clean install)

What files do I need to restore from my Time Machine backup (& where are they) to allow me to utilize my previously installed WindowsXP VM?
