    First, the hardware software:
    Mac Pro 2GB RAM
    iTunes 7.0.2
    iPod 5th Generation (with video)
    Paralles Desktop Build 1970

I am currently trying to restore a friends iPod from Mac format to Windows format, but whenever the restore process begins, Parallels blue screens and begins to reboot. Is there a way to restore the iPod so it's in Windows format using Parallels, or is this a known bug?

    Thanks.

    Maybe try build 1970?

    My bad, I meant I have 1970, not 1940.

    I should probably edit that...

iPods require USB 2.0. When used on a USB 1.0 machine (Running Windows XP), they start to mount, then the iPod driver bluescreens. This problem is not unique to Parallels, but is instead a problem with the iPod driver.
