My Mac HD crashed, so I replaced it with a new one, restoring it from a SuperDuper clone (set to clone the entire drive). The restore was successful, except, now when starting Parallels, Parallels reports, "There is no operating system installed in this virtual machine. Please insert an operating system installation CD into the optical drive of your Mac and restart the virtual machine." 1. Is there an easier way to get the VM back without reinstalling Windows and all its programs? I DO have a separate SuperDuper clone of the Parallels VM I made periodically, not knowing how I might use it, but I'm worried about restoring it on top of the already restored Mac HD. I also (I'm guessing) have clones I did within Parallels ("Clone Virtual Machine"), as well as Snapshots, but I don't know where they are or if they were saved someplace in the SuperDuper Mac clone, or how to use them. 2. I do not remember partitioning the original Mac HD to accommodate Windows, when I first came over from Windows to Mac. Did I? Because I restored my NEW Mac HD without partitioning. Does this mean I have to repartition the Mac HD for Windows and do the whole Mac HD restore again? Thanks for any help the group can provide...
