I found Parallels 4 too slow to be usable, even after following all suggestions, and attempted to revert to 3 following instructions for how to extract the .hds file, remain it with .hdd suffix, etc. All works fine. The disk is mountable. But when I now try to run Parallels 3, using the existing .hdd file, Windows will not boot. I get all these errors: multi)0)disk(9)rdisk(o)partition(1)\WINDOWS/System32\..... ... ... ... HELP!!! Any suggestions? The files appear to be there, but Windows won't boot? Do I go back to Parallels 4? Did I do something wrong? I am at the end of my rope...
