I've search all over the Internet for a solution to this issue.

I have found that Parallels Client is the MOST STABLE and CONSISTENT RDP client for my Linux graphical desktops, EXCEPT for the fact that when I am using a RHEL 7/8 RDP connection, Parallels Client RDP session is shown as CONNECTED in the xrdp logs, but it displays a BLANK or BLACK screen after connecting.

The BIZARRE thing is that using the SAME Parallels Client, an RDP connection to an Ubuntu 22.04 session WORKS PERFECTLY FINE. I'm concluding that this has to be something that is related to the xrdp configuration in my RHEL 7/8 Linux VM. I just can't figure it out what that xrdp configuration has to be.

From my search, I have found similar descriptions of the same problem/behavior, but focused on Windows 10/11 RDP connections.

The solutions I have found all relate to the "Bitmap caching", but in my case this did not solve the "black screen" after the RDP connection.

I'm really just quite frustrated with this issue, as I REALLY like Parallels Client on Mac.

I'm not presently a PAYING customer, so I understand the response to this issue may be ignored.

I just thought I would give it ONE MORE GO on this Parallels Forum to see if there was some knowledge someone could provide on how to solve this issue.
    Kind regards, Marc

Additionally, when using the Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac application, the RDP connection to the RHEL 7/8 desktop WORKS FINE.
My issue with the Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac will often go into a "Not Responding" state on my Mac, and I have to "Force" the application to quit and then RESTART Microsoft Remote Desktop. This is the INSTABILITY in the application that DOES NOT happen with Parallels Client.
