ADDED: Rosetta in Linux Guests

Hi,
With MacOS 13, Apple implemented the ability to use Rosetta as a translation layer in linux guest VMs - this behavior works on UTM, but AFAIK is not supported in Parallels. Is it possible to enable this feature? It makes running x86-64 applications in linux guest VMs (notably, many closed-source industry tools like EDA software) significantly more painless.

Is there any intention of implementing this? It would be a huge milestone if we were able to launch effectively any app in any operating system.

 

That would be amazing. Virtualization on Apple Silicon is very under utilized.
