I am using Parallels 9 on my iMac (running Mavericks). I have Windows and Snow Leopard Server running in VM.

Occasionally, for no apparent reason, my virtual machines lose their connection to the internet and nothing I can do (except for restarting Parallels) will fix the problem (re-establish connection) when this happens.

The problem has to be something within Parallels because it happens to both guests (Windows and OSX) at the same time, and it DOES NOT happen to my host OS. I can connect to the internet just fine on my iMac (hooked up by ethernet by the way) during this whole time, it is only the guests owes that lose the ability to contact the internet.

I have taken the basic steps in troubleshooting (checking the network settings for each virtual machine, etc.) and of course this does no good. The configurations of the guests OSes are fine, and they are able to connect to the internet fine, until for some unknown reasons they lose connection.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this?
