I thought this would be easy but... I have a batch file that I want to run under Win7 (in Parallels). I have a link to that batch file sitting on my Mac's desktop. So when I click on that shortcut file on the Mac desktop Parallels should start then Windows 7 should start (it's the only guest OS), then the batch file should run. I can get it to do the first two but once Windows is up that's pretty much the end of it. Tried associating the batch file with cmd.exe (on the Mac side) but no luck. Does anyone know how to do this? TIA, eric
Sorry for following up my own post but I found a method that should probably work. Create the batch file and save it anywhere but the (Windows) desktop. I used "c:\" Create a shortcut and put that on the (Windows) desktop. It will also appear on the (Mac) desktop. Seems like kind of a roundabout way to do it and you end up in that Convergence(?) mode but eh, my user seems happy. If anyone has a better/different idea feel free to post. eric
