    Hi,

I've downloaded and installed the Parallels for Windows trial and wanted to give it a try. My system is Windows XP SP2. I installed Fedora Core 6 as guest OS - this seems to have worked fine.

Installation finished and the VM wanted to reboot. After rebooting nothing happens. I just see the Paralles start message and system memory:

    Parallels[...]

    640 KB Base Memory
    393216 KB Extended Memory
    _

There it hangs... no message, nothing. It keeps my machine busy with 50% CPU load (running on a Core 2 Duo processor, so one core is completely busy). I left it this way for some minutes, but nothing happened, so I stopped the VM. Tried it 3 times, the behaviour is always the same.

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong here?
