Running MS Outlook on VM

hi there, im a designer and the only one in my company of over 500 employees that use a MAC. i only use windows on my mac to run email as Outlook is a better Exchange client than Entourage. However, i cant get my email attachments to open onto the MAC OS. I dont have any other programs installed on my VM, i have MS Office for MAC so i cant even open a MS Word doc without saving it and then opening it on the MAC side. is it even possible to open the attachments into MAC OS with parallels?
