Has anyone tried running an OS off of a ThumbDrive. And I mean run it all day? I have a client that needs new computers. There are only 3 or 4 of them in the office. I was thinking I could just get them all Mac Minis, (they can use their current monitor, mouse, keyboard). And give each person a 16 or 32GB Thumb drive with the windows.hdd (and other files). When they need to run their old windows apps they can just plug in the thumb drive and run parallels. I'd leave an extra thumb drive with them. If they ever hose their windows install, they can just grab someone else in the office's thumb drive or just mail one to me and I can mail it back (or something). It's kind of like that episode of Star Trek where a holocube is running forever -Carmine
