I'm running Parallels 5.09308.543519 on a Macbook Pro with 500 GB drive. I had gotten a "running out of disk space" warning a few days ago, cleared out space both INSIDE the virtual machine (which has about 40 GB of data and a 60GB allocation) and on my hard drive, which still had only about 20GB free. This morning after backing up my hard drive last night I discovered that my .pvm file had jumped from about 70 GB to 82 GB. I got message, "You are running out of free hard disk space." When I click for more details, it tells me "Free space on the drive= (filename path) necessary to run the virtual machine: 143MB." Current free space on the drive (filename path): 0MB. I'm now clearing my iPhoto file off the drive to make lots of room spI can, I hope, proceed. I tried running compressor some months ago to reduce windows VM size, but it didn't seem to have an impact. What next?
