Running without TS installed?

Greetings! Thanks for this great product.

I am confused... I am running 2X AS and the Terminal Server role has NOT been installed on the 2003 Server R2 yet everything seems to run fine. Am I missing something?

Also... why is SBS (2003) not a suitable platform?

Windows 2003 comes with RDP running for 2 connections as standard

I think you might hv activated the terminal server role.

Win2003 TS will happily work for 120 days before it needs to connect to License Server :cry:

unless you uninstall terminal server from the server, set the date to 2030 or something, install terminal server, select 120 trial period,reboot and change the date to today, that way the temp license will be valid untill 2030 + 3 months, comes in handy when your boss wants u to install it but won't give budget for the next 6 months ..

That would be handy if I were ever in the situation of needing seats and not being able to find some edu *cough*OldDominion*cough* that posts it's volume key publicly.
