Hi All, Does anyone know the Applicaiton Server or VDS can support Samba Domain on Mac Server? It is critical for our user to decide whether introduce 2X into their school. Please help out!!
It should work. What samba setup do you have ? Try first using winnt authentication. I do not think it will work in LDAP mode for all implementations of SMB server. 2X supports MS AD officially , but it has been known to work on smb (WINNT mode) and Novell eDirectory. Open LDAP gives problems so i would avoid using that. Hope this helps
