    Hi @SeymourH, please install the USB 3.0 driver package for your Samsung Magician and connect it to Windows 10 virtual machine directly. If the issue persists, please follow the work around:
    1. Shut down the virtual machine.
    2. Open virtual machine configuration > Hardware tab > Boot order > Advanced settings > Boot flags > Copy and paste the following boot flag:
    devices.sfilter.enable=0
    3. Start the virtual machine and check the issue with USB 3.0 device.

    Paul,
    Thanks form your response.
    I want to make sure I was expressing myself correctly.
    Not sure about any USB3 issue....

    Running windows 10 under parallels, on my MacBook Pro.
    Loaded Samsung Magician 4.5 to manage my Samsung SSD 840 drive.
    Magician does not recognize the Samsung drive. I added the boot flag but no change
    Further suggestions appreciated.

    Seymour
