Hi When running Win XP under Parallels I have a program, not a very widespread one, CircuitCam by LPKF, where "save as" does not work when working in a shared folder; just nothing happens. If the files are on the windows drive it does work, however this is no solution, danger is too high to have inconsistent folders when copying back is forgotten once. Is this a known problem and is there a solution? Regards Martin
Try to check disk permissions on the both Parallels and Mac sides. In Parallels it's in Edit -> Virtual Machine -> Shared Folders -> Mode (it should be R/W). In Mac OS X right-click on the folder you share and check "Sharing&Permissions" in "Get Info" drop menu. What's your build of PD?
Is it possible to enable Samba sharing on Mac OS, and mount disk as usual network drive in Windows , and check are you able to save from CAD?
